Dear EnGw
I know I have a problem. I set goals but I don’t just achieve them. Whenever I say I’m going to do something, I end up not doing it. Procrastination gets the better side of me most of the time. I just simply lack self control and discipline. What can I do?
Terry.

Dear Terry,
The first step to solving any problem is identifying the problem itself and we’re glad you’re on track with this step already. Procrastination is a common, but solvable problem.
Setting up accountability mechanisms for yourself is very important when dealing with procrastination. Is there someone (or a system) that holds you responsible if you don’t do the things you set out to do?
It is also important to look for things to motivate you to do what you set out to do. If the task is boring, try another approach to achieving the results. You’d be surprised how creative you are if you allow your mind to explore other possible approaches to doing what you do.
Finally, build your mind to be results-oriented. If you want to get results, you have to do the work as at when due!
You’d be fine, Terry. We’re confident in your abilities!
Much love,
EnGw
