All those unachieved new year resolutions are back to being recycled.
January has helped some people recover from the hangover of Detty December, especially financially. But it has also shown some people pepper. Thankfully, February is here to wipe away those not-too-good memories.

It’s time to wipe the slates clean and start all over again. Well, here are FIVE SURE TIPS to ensure that February is a better month than January.

1. Be Realistic

This literally tops the list. Think about it. You said you were going to develop six packs in January. Look at that tummy of yours. Even ordinary one pack isn’t there. You wrote down that you were going to do “this and that and these and those” at the beginning of the year.

Maybe it’s time to set some realistic goals and stop building castles in the air. Remember, it’s not too late to start over. Bring out the drawing board and draw again, only this time, use the right measurements with correct ruler πŸ™‚

2. Manage Time Better

Okay. Many of us are on this table. From WhatsApp to Instagram to Facebook, you’re just making Uncle Zuckerberg smile everytime. Twitter family, I hail you. It’s you that knows all the latest memes and trending topics. Your head is there.

Time waits for no one

See, my friend, time is everything o! Spend your time productively. Write a book, or at least, a few paragraphs. Spend that 30 minutes screen time with people instead. Pick a friend’s brain (not literally, lol) for ideas. Challenge yourself to do more. That saying that “time waits for no one”, it has never been more true than now.😐

3. Celebrate your wins

No matter how little they are, be sure to celebrate your victories. Don’t let the naysayers block your shine abeg. Shine that win into their eyes, but sha don’t overdo it, you don’t want to give them conjunctivitis.

Celebrate your little wins

You’ve just been able to do one of those things on your list of “100 things to achieve before the year runs out”
My dear, celebrate it. You’d be enthused to do more. That’s the spirit. Live and be happy! Don’t just survive, chop this life jare πŸ˜‹

4. Plan well.

Month has not started, you’ve finished spending January salary/pocket money for the month. Ahaaaan. I’m not saying you shouldn’t spend o. Just be sure you’ve got a plan. And not just financially, in every aspect too.

Plan everything, especially your relationships. Plan how you relate with your friends, colleagues and family. Be intentional about your mental health abeg. Don’t be like “ehn, I dinnor know when it happened“. You know, you just didn’t see it coming. Forsee things by planning.

PLAN, PLAN, PLAN

This is not to send you on a wild goose chase of imaginations o. All them daydreaming you do. Not that kind of fantasy planning. I’m talking about weighing your options and placing your emotional stability above anything that stands in its way. Guard your mind, biko πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

5. Finally, take time to rest
Even God rested. So who are you to be working like German machine. That degree, you will get it. That exam, you will pass. That promotion, it’s already yours. Don’t kill yourself with work please. Rest is key. Take time to reboot.

Rest, plix DearπŸ™ƒ

Clear your mind of the clutter. Shebi it’s tbe person that is alive and well that will enjoy the fruit of all the work. Abeg, I cannot come and go and kill myself. I will sleep and rest wella. Sha don’t oversleep o. Set alarm. Don’t say it’s me that allowed your boss to give you query for coming late to work on Monday πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

February is Fabulous already, Fam. Let’s enjoy the month.

Cheers!
